How to to run multiple jboss instances by Vimlesh Rathour

Hi Team,

Below are the changes needed to be done to run multiple jboss instances.

1) create another instance at location: jboss-home/server/new instance name.
2) copy all your data from deafult(instance) to the newly created insatance.

To avoid ports confliction, ports will be changed in 4 files as mentioned below:

1) jboss-home/server/new-instance_default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/server.xml

        # change HTTP connection port and AJP port
           say 8080 to 8180 and 8009 to 8109 i.e with increment of 100

2) jboss-home/server/new-instance_default/deploy/jms/uil2-service.xml

        # change ServerBindPort with the increment of 100

3) jboss-home/server/new-instance_default/deploy/ejb3.deployer/META-INF/jboss-               service.xml

        # change jboss.bind.address port 3873 with the increment of 100.

4) jboss-home/server/new-instance_default/conf/jboss-service.xml

        # change all ports with increment of 100.

run configuration:

jboss-home/bin/run.sh -c instance_name
